A truly unique  camping and divine palce 

Padmanabhaswamy temple is located in Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala, India . The temple is built in Dravidian style of architecture associated with the temples located in the neighboring state of Tamil Nadu, featuring high walls and a 16th-century Gopuram. The temple is a replica of the Adikesava Perumal temple located in Kanyakumari. It is the richest Hindu temple in the world.

The principal deity Vishnu is enshrined in the "Anantha Sayanam" posture, the eternal yogic sleep on the serpent Adisheshan. Sree Padmanabhaswamy is the tutelary deity of the royal family of Travancore. The titular Maharaja of Travancore Moolam Thirunal Rama Varma is the trustee of the temple as Sree Padmanabhadasa, the slave of Lord Padmanabha. In line with the Temple Entry Proclamation, only those who profess the Hindu faith are permitted entry to the temple and devotees have to strictly follow the dress code

Mathur Aqueduct or Mathur Hanging Trough,

The bridge is an Aqueduct in Southern India, in Kanyakumari District of Tamil Nadu state. Built over the Pahrali River (also called Parazhiyar), it takes its name from Mathur, a hamlet near the Aqueduct, which is at a distance of about 3 kilometres from Thiruvattar town and about 60 km from Kanyakumari, the southernmost town of India. It is one of the longest and highest aqueducts in South Asia and is also a popular tourist spot in Kanyakumari District.

Thirparappu Waterfalls

The famous Thirparappu waterfalls are located about 5 km from here. This famous falls is in the Kodayar (Kothai) River. Thirparappu waterfalls are 300 feet long and consist of a rocky riverbed. The water falls from a height of nearly 50 feet and the water flows for about seven months in a year. The District Administration has recently constructed a swimming pool which is very popular among the children.

Kanyakumari

Kanyakumari, the southernmost tip of mainland India is a 70km drive from here. A popular tourist and pilgrimage destination, Cape Kanyakumari is the point of convergence of three major water bodies, The Arabian Sea, Bay of Bengal and The Indian Ocean. It is also a holy place for Hindus.

Padmanabhapuram Palace 

The palace is located in at  Padmanabhapuram Fort, in Padmanabhapuram, Kanyakumari District, Tamil Nadu, India. Padmanabhapuram is the former capital city of the erstwhile kingdom of Travancore. It is about 20km from Nagercoil, and about 50km from Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala. The palace complex is inside an old granite fortress around four kilometers long. The palace is located at the foot of the Veli Hills, which form a part of the Western Ghats. The river Valli flows nearby. The palace was constructed around 1601 AD by Iravi Varma Kulasekhara Perumal who ruled Venad between 1592 and 1609.

Chitharal Jain Temple

The monuments are located in the small village of Chitharal in Tamil Nadu, which lies xxx km from Anantya. Chitharal is historically known as Thirucharanathupalli – the abode of Jain monks belonging to the Digambara sect. It is famous for the hillock which has a cave containing rock-cut sculptures of Thirthankaras and attendant deities carved inside and outside dating back to the 9th century. Among the rock-cut relief sculptures is a figure of the goddess Dharmadevi. The Jain influence in this region was due to the King Mahendravarman I. The Jain images have been preserved Central Archeological Survey of India.

Tiruvattar Temple

This famous temple is about 18kms from the resort. The Adikesava Perumal temple is considered to be of equal sanctity to that at Trivandrum dedicated to Sri Padmanabha, though it is much older. The God Adikesava is said to have taken his rest at Tiruvattar after having killed an Asura, who had been the cause of immense misery to the world. He is represented as Vishnu seated, in contrast to the lying posture of Sri Padmanabha at Trivandrum. It is situated on a high level and flights of steps lead up to its precincts from all sides.

Thengapattanam Beach

 

Thengapattanam has a long seashore with ferry services available . Thengapattanam is a major tourist attraction in the Kanyakumari district.
